| Post subject: help - need info on SH hospitals |
What are your experiences with the following hospitals who has an international section:
Zhongshan Hospital Fudan University
Ruijin Hospital of Shanghai Second Medical University
Luwan Branch of Ruijin Hospital of Shanghai Second Medical University (Central Hospital of Luwan District )
Huashan Hospital of Fudan University
Shanghai First People’s Hospital
I have to get some kidney stones removed, any urologist recommendations? |

Ooh - my recommendation would be to work through your healthcare provider / network back in the U.S. ??? Maybe they could recommend the most qualified specialists for you - my advice would be to go to HK if you can't find someone you're comfortable with here. |

I agree, I would not have any procedure for this done here if I could possibly avoid it, sometimes it is jsut less complicated, cheaper and quicker to hop on a plane to Hong Kong and have it done there. Not worth even the smallest risk of some complication, and the risk here is definitely higher than in HK and may not be related to the actual surgical expertise at all but rather other issues of nursing care, sterility, infection control etc. |
