| Post subject: CHINESE BANK INTERNET BANKING....HOW DO I GET IT? |
Does anyone know whether I can set up internet banking with a Chinese bank account? And how do I go about getting it? I will be with Bank of China. And can you transfer funds into Australian/American/International accounts?
Thanks guys |

I just went to my local BOC with a Chinese friend with my passport and residents permit and asked for an account with internet banking. It's easy to access via internet but facilities are fairly limited.
I transfer funds to my UK bank using the appropriate form plus my passport and bank card, but you can expect to queue for up to an hour. Transaction takes about 10 minutes. I can only send a limited amount (£200) because I am not working. Don't know if BOC increase the limit for those working. Charges at both ends take about 10% of your money. If you want a draft copy of the form pm me with your e-mail address |

go the any kind of chinese banks and apply for your internet/online bank account. please bring your visa or passport and fill in some application and then they will tell you how you get it and when you can use your online bank account to transfer or to shop or to use it from there immeidately. |
