he is sh1te in the tv series he has chosen to do but then again, i also thought ricky gervais was rubbish in the office. both of them are totally different doing stand-up.

Eddie Izzard has been in a couple of movies that I've seen. There's a British gangster flick that he's in where he plays the part of a villain pretty convincingly.

I think his stand up stuff is far more intelligent and well-thought out than some other shite - the drilling cats stuff is hilarious.
