where can I buy the book "A Year in Provence" by Peter Mayer?
went to the Shanghai Foreign Book Store on Fu Zhou Lu, and Gerdan book on Chang Le Lu, sold out
checked out the online book store, dangdang and joyo, no luck either
Anyone knows where in the town I can find the book?

That might be because his name is Peter Mayle (not Mayer).
You might also want to read the 1935 book he purportedly nicked a lot of his book's content from:
"Perfume from Province", by Lady Winifred Fortescue. It was reissued a while back when some folks made the connection. |
