Post subject: A strange kinda question

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help.

I'm planning to move to Shanghai at the end of October to work and i'll be in Shanghai for about a year. I've been looking at renting an apartment as well as prices. But where my questions lies is with religion. I'm a Muslim and i know that there are a few mosques in Shanghai as well as Muslim restaurants. What i was wondering was if you would be able to tell me which districts in Shanghai one would be able to find the highest population of Muslims? The reason i ask is that i'd actually like to see if i could rent in one of these areas.

Help and advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Why have you posted this again. People have already been kind enough to reply the first time you asked.

My apologies.

I honestly couldn't find the first post and just figured that it was a figment of my over active imagination. Hence posting a second time.

Thanks for the link, its much appreciated.

hm, if you did not find the original post, wondering how you are able to type another message word for word then... hehe. just kidding. i understand why you are reposting; probably because the original post did not garner the response that you need. in that case, bumping the message up would do the trick.

Welcome to Shanghai.

I know a few Muslim people here, though not really into going to the Mosque. Probably because of the language problem. Even though Koran is read in one language, the preeches are often in the local language.

If you need info on where to get halal meat or restaurants serving halal food, you can PM me and I'll give you some tips.

Do not pay attention to La Vecchia Signora's comments. Often anti-Muslim, but as long as administrators of this website accept it, we will have to read and ignore it!

Where are you from by the way?
