It means nothing to me.
It means nothing for me.
Which one is correct? |

What a smart ass platl10 is here, who never helped SPP and even tried to convince somebody trying to help that it is a stupid action or sin. What a winner!

Last time, then I am gone.
When refeering to myourself in either spoken or written form, one should refer to oneself as "I" (first person), not SPP (third person).
Example:
I do not quite understand what you are saying here P1ATL10. What a smart ass he is. He has never helped me, and even tried to convince someone else that doing so is a stupid action or a sin |

The clue is in the initials: SPP
For anyone with ears and a radio in the 1980's, we all know what "being down with OPP" means is. So, 'SPP'....any ideas?
Super Pudong Prostitute is my guess. |

SPP knows now that the second "a" should not be cut out. Even platl10 has helped SPP. What a blessing!

As SPP has said on it before and will said it again, it's in SPP's understand, though limited, that I=YOU=HE=SHE=IT=THEY=WE. However, due to lack of understanding, SPP still feels identities. Thus SPP is trying his best to use identities directly instead of these pronouns unless in a situation that SPP has to use them, to prevent confusion.

SEE!
This is what SPP calls "HELP".
Thank you very much, dianajoschke.

Why we should use a comma before the "and"? SPP thinks someone has taught SPP in this topic a few days ago that we should try to use commas as infrequently as possible.

He gave me a book.
A book was given me.
A book was given to me.

All you have to do is push the button.
Why is this sentence correct?
"Do" is a verb for Christ's sake!
Someone can help SPP? |

Someone like platl10 doesn't understand how "HELP" works.
SPP is calling for help of answering the questions SPP has put here but never of correcting the way SPP talks. Platl10 has never tried to answer the calls made by SPP, but tries to answer a call that doesn't even exist just like trying to answer a phonecall that has never been made. Maybe platl10 is, in his owns eyes, a goddamned smart ass, but in the view of SPP, who is still a retard, he is not. |

What does "deadbead" mean?
Someone please tell SPP.
the moment I got up
the moment that I got up
the moment when I got up
the moment in which I got up
Are the four forms all correct?
---------------------------------------------------------
the time when I was a kid.
the time I was a kid.
Which one is correct?
--------------------------------------------------------
I had finished my homework before supper.
I finished my homework before supper.
Which one is the better one?
------------------------------------------------
A man and a woman are there.
There is a man and a woman.
Has anyone seen some contradiction here?
---------------------------------------------------------
It was surprising for him to say something like that. (His action was
surprising. He is surprising.)
It was surprising to me that he said something like that.(I was surprised.)
Is that the way we should use "for" and "to"?
---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------
Who the hell created this goddamned stupid language?
Who the hell has been advocating that this disgustingly primitive language should be widely used?
SPP doesn't get it.
SPP doesn't buy it. |

SPP thought platl10 was gone forever.
Welcome back to be SPP's guest anyway.
---------------------------------------------------------------------- ----
Why does SPP want to know something about English?
SPP is in China to learn something about China. However almost everyone SPP has met is trying to speak English. SPP didn't give a shitt about it first. But slowly and slowly SPP found that even conversations between Chinamen themselves sometimes are in this language. SPP was shocked. At that time SPP came to know how widely used English as a language is. SPP had already known some concepts about this language, and SPP thought it was time to know a little more about it. SPP likes looking for some information on internet thus SPP found this forum. After having read some topics here, it seemed to SPP that there were many nice people here, thus SPP thought maybe he could get some helps in his language learning in the "learning language" section.
But the reality is not as SPP expected......
However, SPP will continue posting some questions he meets in the hope that someone eventually will help SPP out. |
