| Post subject: Aussie Football finals this weekend. |
Ah yes, football finals time. Along with Cup Day, Bathurst and Anzac day, this is the day that every man gets a leave pass to get as absolutely plastered as possible.
In Shanghai, here is what is happening.
AFL - Saturday. 2 venues.
1 - Big Bamboo. The official Football club function. 250rmb all you can eat and drink beer. They get around 250 to 300 people there. Starts at 10.30am. tickets at the door.
2 - Eager Beaver. We (the JustBeer.cn boys) are organising a smaller Rebel tour event at the Eager Beaver. Cash bar for drinks and Food. Hoping around 30 to 50 people there. Should be fun. Kicks off about 11.30. Game starts about 12.30. This is where i will be.
NRL - Sunday. 1 venue
1 - Eager Beaver. Same deal as above. Cash bar. Not sure when the game starts, think it might be a 4.30 Aussie time, so about 2.30 here. |

Geelong v Port Adelaide. Port thrashed Roos on the weekend, and Geelong seem to be fading a bit. Could be a great game. |

Mat, I agree that this could be another classic grand final (hopefully up to the standards of the last 2 seasons). If Port can be ahead or break even at quarter time then I think they will be a great chance. Go the Power! |

There will of course be pies. Will get him to make sure his ayi only waves them over a naked flame to "warm" them up, so we feel like we are at the actual ground. Maybe get him to just serve light beer as well.
Any volunteers to be the streaker? A run up to the Alldays on the corner and back in the birthday suit is required i'm thinking. |

Kit (owner of Eager Beaver) has some big ones. He's just agreed to give me the keys to the joint. Therefore, on Sunday, before the rugby, we will show the Japanese F1 GP, which promises to be a ripper. Back at Fuji circuit too.

OK, just confirmed a couple of things.
Pie warmer is a goer. DONE DEAL. Pie warmer on the bar.
P-lenty of beer being delivered Friday.
Kit is giving me the keys, so i'm going to call some shots for the weekend. The first shot being called is that i am renaming the joint.

Just to Recap the order of events at the Rooty Hill RSL (Formally known as Eager Beaver, soon to be known as The Shed).
Myself and Frank are the guv's for the weekend also.
Saturday - 11.30am the looseness begins. Game starts about 12.15.
Sunday - Japan F1. 12.30 in the afternoon start.
Sunday - NRL Grand Final - 4.30pm the pre game entertainment starts. I don't think they have Angry Anderson and the Bat Mobile, but i'm sure it's something just as good. Game starts maybe 45 mins or so later.
Food & Bevvies.
Food - MEAT PIES and plenty of them in the pie warmer
BEVVIES - Beer from us, JustBeer.cn. Boags, VB, Crown, XXXX & some Reschs and maybe some Tooheys Extra dry. Basically, whatever myself and Frank can be arsed serving you.
