The "Yue Festival" will feature an exciting mix of international and Chinese live music acts.

You've heard FAITHLESS (UK) on the radio, on MTV, and in the clubs. Faithless is known for their amazing live performances, and their first visit to Shanghai will be a new experience that people will be talking about for years...

Veterans of the world's great music festivals, Ozomalti have been called "the best live music act in the world" by TimeOut Magazine -- mixing Latin, funk, jazz and rock, and with lyrics in English and Spanish...

Talib Kweli, American hip hop legend, after working for years with Mos Def and Blackstar, will be out rocking the big stage with tracks off his new album "Eardrum"...

Plus we've got ... rock bands SuperVC and Hedgehog from Beijing, and our local heroes, the two Bananas. Banana Monkey will rock, while the Bananas Soundsystem DJ party crew will roll. Xinjiang's IZ will add a traditional music element to the mix as well.

We've also added YACHT, a new upcoming indie-electronic act from Portland, Oregon, USA ... and Shanghai's favorite reggae soundsystem, Uprooted will support DJ between rock bands on the afternoon.

... if that's not enough, we've also got Neocha.com's good people hosting a Creative Village with tons of independent designers, workshops, and theatrical surprises! Namaste Yoga Shala and Master Duncan Wong will be there as well, with a free yoga demo during the day...

Ticket info, line-up details, etc... check the site below:

Advanced ticket sales will end the evening of Oct. 4.

We deliver, but you're also welcome to pick up advanced tickets at our office, 100 Fuxing Xi Lu, near Yongfu Lu.

Ticket hotline = 135-2455-1955 ... tickets are cheaper in advance, and there's an English/Chinese speaker on the line. The line's been mad busy but you'll get through eventually!

Any idea where I can get tickets at this late date? I only just saw this post and I'm a HUGE Ozomatli fan. I haven't seen anything about this around town. I guess that's the price of living in the 'burbs.

Currently hearing and seeing Faithless from my balcony on 18th floor...great concert! No tickets needed and beer from the fridge while working to get all info to my colleagues in Europe before the weekend. More concerts welcome in Zhongshan Park!

Great fcukin festival! Great vibe (2 seperate groups of English pricks aside, wtf is it with the attitude?), great acts mixing with the crowd, tonnes of honies, busy but not packed, easy access to food and drink that wasn't overpriced, great staff (mostly volunteers, hats off) and nice bouncy grass to jump on! Yay!

Congrats all, can't wait til next year! Very Happy
