I wonder what Bond 22 will be like. I wasn't very into Casino Royale. I found it dull. One of the weakest Bonds in my opinion. He wasn't a bad James Bond, not a good one either, but the movie was dull in my opinion. |

Completely agree with that.
I've found that people who aren't really die-hard Bond fans seemed to like it, but I was yawning halfway through the movie. |

Are you kidding? Casino Royal is one of the best bond films ever. Right up there with 'The Spy Who Loved me'.
I liked it anyway. It gets better every time I watch it. |

It is actually much closer to Fleming's Bond than any of the Roger Moore crap. |

He was all class. Funny too, Octopussy is great for a laugh. Might do a Bond "Golden Week" starting tonight. Skip T.Dalton though. |

Roger Moore is the shittest Bond of all time. FACT. I really enjoyed the last Bond when I saw it in the picture house, but bought the DVD here and when I watched it again, realised that the whole middle part of the film- where he literally plays poker for 2 straight days- is ridiculously dull.
He's great as Bond though, and the last scene of the film had me punching the air and going "Go on Bond! Fcking knack the bastard!!!!" |

I thought so too. I was hoping for a more gritty, hardcore Bond. None of this "new technical gadget" sponsored by AOL & Lexus crap they've had for the last several movies. The gadgets were mostly Product Placement. |

How can it be ridiculously dull when he kills the African gangsters and brings himself back from the dead halfway through and just walks back to the table and says "Sorry I'm late, that last hand nearly killed me..."

I liked those action bits, but then he just keeps going back and playing poker again. What was all that nonsense about Le Chiffre having a tell- oh but it was a fake tell!!!!! Bothered.
Maybe it's because I don't play poker.

Doncaster. My parents are from County Durham, but I picked up that word from reading Viz. |
