Post subject: English proofreading/editing jobs and others

I'd just like to know about the other jobs available in Shanghai to native speakers of English that have roughly the same entry requirements as TEFL (for example a degree from an English speaking university and the ability to speak native English).

Through Google searches I've turned up results for English proofreaders and editors. Are there any of you out there that do these types of jobs? If so what sort of wage can you expect to be on, how can one go about applying for these jobs whilst not in China, what's the job like (do you like it, not like it, why?), what's the pay and what are the career prospects?

And what other jobs do you know of that are open to young native English speakers that aren't necessarily TEFL and don't require much experience.
