Also I haven't found the way to download podcasts

Hi,

I brought i phone last week from you US. Who can recommend somebody to make sim crack and jailbreak in Shanghai. I do stay close to HK Plaza, so if everybody knows a guy there to do this job, would be great.

Thanks and rgds

@Fritzone

You can do it yourself -
Download 1.1.1 from Apple
Downgrade to 1.1.1
Jailbreak (follow the instructions on the website)
Run Octoprep
Upgrade to 1.1.2
Jailbreak again.

Check www.unlock.no for details and downloads or iphone.fiveforty.net/wiki

You'll need a turbosim or similar to use the phone after jailbreak though.
(They're about 200rmb)

Have fun!

Do you know is it's possible to send MMS with Iphone?
I have one, with my ChinaMobile card, and my GPRS is active.
They say that with Iphone you can send MMS if you type the number of the recipient @operator.com

means something like 13188888888@chinamobile.com, does anyone knows the exact adress after @ for china mobile?

Thanks in advance

iPhone doesn't do MMS (natively), assuming you are using something like SwirlyApp, then usually its the same settings as GPRS for the most part

MMSC: mmsc.monternet.com
Proxy: 10.0.0.172
APN: cmwap
Username: cmwap

Yes if you live in Hong Kong. They don't ship outside Hong Kong.

I bought my ORIGINAL, unlocked, 16gb 3g iPhone 3 weeks ago at the HK plaza in huai hai lu for rmb 5700. It worked fine from day 1 and I havent encountered any problems so far. It is such a cool piece of equipment but its just not me so I am considering to sell it. Any interested parties may sms or call me at 13901829285.
