Post subject: Moving to Shanghai - Need to choose an apartment

My fiance and I will be moving to Shanghai in a couple of weeks. We will be provided temporary accomadation for a month. My companies offices will be in Times Square so ideally would be located within walking distance (20 mins walk is ok).

What we are after is the following:

- 2 bedroom
- fully furnished (with as much as possible - we will be arriving with clothes and computers only...)
- Security building
- ADSL (faster the better - is this normally included or will I need to sign up to a plan?)
- A place the is popular with expats (we are 28 yr old Australians currently living in the UK)
- Quiet
- Ideally near metro as we will not have a car
- Have a taxi rank near by

We have about US$1400 a month

I have been looking online and have found the following places, does anyone have any experience with them?

8 Park Avenue (this is current favourite - positive comments in this forum)
Top of the City
1 Park Avenue
Jewerly Garden
Oriental Manhattan

I am having difficutly placing the above on a map - does anyone know of a good mapping service that places the apartments? How quickly do places become available? Also not sure if the above fit within my budget for a 2 bedroom place.....

Greatful for any help - funny feeling I will be posting a lot of questions on this forum in the coming weeks.
