Post subject: Any advice how to get Ayi to the states for 3 months

There is a possibility that we will be moving back to the States after an amazing 5 years in Shanghai! We have 3 small kids and I would love to take ayi back for 3 months to help with transition. I have looked at the visa process but was wondering if anyone has taken theirs and if you have advice.

She has been with us basically the whole time, has a passport (went to HK for 5 weeks with us and Malaysia). I am worried since it seems a lot of people are being rejected for US Visa.

Thanks!

- Is she single or married?
- How old is she?
- Does she have any other strong ties to China. Financial, family, whatever?

The kids at the INS basically assume that any Visa granted will be violated...the person will jump ship and stay in the US.

Without being able to build a very good case that she has strong ties to China and will return, I am afraid that the propspects are not very good.
