| Post subject: Service Apartment in Shanghai |
Hi,
I will be holidaying in Shanghai in Nov 2007. As I will be travelling with kids, would prefer to stay in a service apartment. Does anyone know any clean, safe and reasonable priced service apartments in Shanghai? Would also prefer to stay in Nanjing Road area.
Thanks |

The OP wants reasonable priced apartments, the Kerry Centre clearly is not!!
SHANGHAI KERRY CENTER
Jing An District
1 Bedroom.............................................$2400-$2500
2 Bedrooms...........................................$3000-$4000
3 Bedrooms...........................................$4500-$5000
4 Bedrooms...........................................$6700-$7500

There are plenty of Nice service apts near nanjing rd. You can also get a very nice suite in the Riverside Bund Hotel for about $80.00 per night.I lived there for about two months. It is good value. |

Lots of nice options around indeed... but there are a few question OP should clarify before we can make effective recommendations :
How long are OP + family staying in Shanghai to warrant a service apartment instead of a hotel?
NanJing Road EAST? or WEST?... Difference attractions on either end... While I have walked it all the way from the Bund to Plaza 66 before... it is not exactly "walking distance"...
How many adults / children in the family?... determines how big a unit they need... Some properties cater mainly to bachelors and couples while some offer much bigger units...
What is "reasonably priced" to OP? Who knows?... maybe 2 adjoining suites at the Mandarin would seem reasonable to OP when compared to something in their home town?...
So, OP please provide more specifics... Cheers... |
