Post subject: closest 5* to convention center
what is the closest 5* to the pudong exhibition center?

last year we stayed at the grand hyatt. anything nearer of similar caliber?

The Renaissance Hotel Pudong is pretty nice. It is about 500M from the Pudong Exibition Center. Some places to eat nearby and some bars, but not too much to do around there besides work and eat.

But you really can't beat the Grand Hyatt or Shangri La in Pudong.
