I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the classic Troop Beverly Hills. Like, oh my gosh, you know? Hehehe..

Breakfast at Tiffany's was my fave when I was a kid and teenager. I must've seen that movie a few hundred times. And still watch it on a regular basis. But nowadays I feel that it's a bit "tainted" for exactly the reasons you mentioned, people adoring Holly Golightly as if she was just another Carrie. Capote's Holly was so much more meaningful in the book..


That aside. I do love my old-school movies. But what about some modern classics?
