Ok, I tried to upload a new avatar. Didn't work. Double checked if size and format is right, tried again. Nothing
Tried to delete old avatar first then upload the new one. Nothing. Old avatar won't delete.
Any suggestions how to fix this?
Thanks in advance! |

Does it give you an error message or is it just that you can not see the new one yet?
If there's no error message, try logging out of the site or wait a day, and then you'll see the new one. This happens to me 10% of the time, and sometimes I can not see the new one but the other people on this forum can.
Your avatar is currently a sailboat. |

CH, thanks for the feedback! If it's a sail boat then it's the new avatar and I succeeded to upload it. |

It's your browser's cache. Rather than re-downloading every little thing when you go to a website, the browser will store a lot of stuff in local memory. If you make a change that does not show up it's because your browser is grabbing the avatar from its stored memory rather than getting a new one.
In Firefox 2 or thereabouts, hit Tools -> Clear Private Data. In older ones it might have been under Edit -> Preferences -> More Junk
Intranut Exploder 6, Tools -> General -> Temporary Internet Files -> Delete ? I don't use 'sploder much so could be off a little but that's the general idear.
Anyway, clear the cache then refresh by hitting "reload" and you should see the new avatar. |

Actually I am using FF. I had a look at Opera some time ago. Looked quite ok actually. |
