Post subject: Leagues

Are there any amateur sports leagues or groups in shanghai? Specifically basketball, Rugby or American Football. I am guessing there is no American football league, so is anyone willing to join one if offered.

No offense meant, Chico, but around here doing a Google search before posting questions that are easily answered by same is considered basic polite behaviour.

Nevertheless, I did it for you (no thanks required), and the top two results for "Shanghai" and "rugby" are:

http://www.shanghaifootballclub.com/
(you're specifically after http://www.shanghaifootballclub.com/contact_rugby.php )

and http://www.rugbyshanghai.com/

That'll get you in contact with the organisers of the sport in Shanghai - they're back in training already for the coming 2nd half of the season.

Which raises a question: If you're too lazy to wave your fingers at a keyboard for 10 seconds, I can't imagine you're going to love the training (a couple of hours per session of shuttle runs, wind sprints, sit-ups, push-ups - all that caper).

Best of luck.
