Dear Bonnie,
I really appreciate your thoughtful and honest questoins.
Height --I am 161 cm, i hope he could be preferable more than 172.
Age -- I am 25, so i prefer he could be within 24-35.
Money -- I work as an assistant to general manager, though my salary is not high, i don't need much money. I hope he has a job.
House -- Shanghai house is expensive, though i could get a loan, but renting a house is fine with me.
Time -- Lifelong relationship would be wonderful, my attitude is " marriage or love could not be pursued, but to be attracted by the person you will become".

Zhang Hai Ning = Shanghainese for "Shanghainese".

But I should actually correct myself, the more "Nadee Ning" living in SH and having children, they actually grow up and adapt to the "Shanghainese culture", in about 5-10years, there won't be a difference anymore, just like the same with "Gang Paw Ning", they migrated to SH a long time ago, then had children in SH, and now you can't tell the difference. Same thing thats happening now. |

Thank you. I am from outside Shanghai), coutryside near a coastal city in southeast China. You are right that some Nadee Ning become Shanghainese.

Thank you for asking, Sixminutes. The fact is I am now trying to attend a Chinese Dating TV program to look for a boyfriend, too.
A boyfriend,to me, is someone who is a boy and my closest friend. He does not necessarily have to be white.
What matters is not where he comes from, but whether he and I can be together to go on the journey of exploring life. |

I really appreciate your sincerity and help, Kavin.
I did try to join some and chatted on line, but people seemed not serious and they did not regard my sincerity seriously.
I went to Toastmaster once and heard that Shanghaiexpat.com is a place to meet people, so I thought this may be a place where there are true people.
Of course, i did attend many activities and went to music bars,etc, but normally people just wanted to know about my job or just wanted to learn Chinese.
Now my colleages suggest me to participate in a Chinese Dating TV Program, so I am trying to apply for the entry.

Let me take cooking soup for an example. I like to cook soups as I am from Southern China. Normally the soup is steamed for at least two hours.
While drinking soup, normally it is the soup that is nutrient and the meats are not. So most of the time, the meat are disposed.
Cheap meanlingless sex,to me, is just like meat in the soup, which are overcooked and tasteless.
Sorry, this is my choice. But if others chooses to eat the "meat", then I their choices should be respected,too.
The place from photo 4# to 14# were taken in southwest China, a place called Yellow River Waterfall, it is very original and natural.
As it is not very commercially advertised yet, tourists are not a lot, there.
We could discuss more if you are interested.
