Post subject: One Day Hike in Hangzhou - China's Finest City

Bohdi Brand New Event !!!

Hiking at Hangzhou - China's Finest City

Level: Moderate

Description: Grab your camera and come join us as we head to the beautiful mountain playland of Hangzhou for a day that will blow your socks off, or at least wear holes in them. We start south of Hangzhou’s West Lake (not to be confused with one of the other 30+ lakes in china with the same name) at the entrance to the fabled Running Tiger Mountain and ascend the steep and gnarled path to the summits above. We will follow the ridge road until it drops into more tea the fields below famous for Dragon Well tea. We will make a crossing of the famous and sometimes touristy “9 bend stream with 18 gulleys (no more no less) “, before ascending once again into the wild.

Once atop the ride again, we will follow it North to the Hangzhou botanical gardens. We will finish the day with a stroll across the Su Causeway and hang up our boots at the north end of the lake in a small cottage that serves our favorite Frozen Margaritas this side of the Pacific Ocean and one of our favorite restaurants in the world. You won’t find it in the travel guides but it’s roasted meats, wonderful aubergines served on a sizzling iron plate and delicate pumpkin pancakes make the birds sing. It’s a jam-packed day that will give you a good feel for one of China’s greatest cities.

Hangzhou is not China's finest city. It's just what the propaganda wants you to believe Smile

Moganshan Going Naked Trip

Joint With BOHDI ADVENTURES

Friday, April 25th to Sunday, April 27th

Like two super-heroes, Naked and BOHDI ADVENTURES are combining forces for the benefit of mankind! Moganshan Mountian, one of BOHDI ADVENTURES most tantalizing destinations just got better! Naked, an expat operated boutique bungalow resort nestled peacefully in the trees at the base of this famous mountain is opening it's doors for a unique special event.

We depart Friday at 7pm for Moganshan and arrive around 10pm for some pajama star-gazing. The next morning enjoy the tastiest western style breakfast in the area before setting out for a cruise among two nearby lakes and a sack lunch before attacking the mountains. We'll be back at Naked in the late afternoon for tea and a short rest before a barbecue dinner served on the porch!

We advise you to sleep as rock-like as possible, you'll need your legs and lungs for our Sunday ascent of the mountain and the breath-taking views from the rocky summit! Be back for a late lunch and sleep your way home to Shanghai.
