Speaking from experience?
I remember at a Uni ball, we had vodka-martinis because we thought we were cool. |
Well, martinis do tend to f*ck me up, but no, it's a rhyme by I can't remember who, that was in a book I bought about making martinis. |
you haven't tried Laris ones!!! I can have 3 or 4 of those without getting drunk. but then again they are full with sugar and hardly no alcohol, haha |
Sugar in a martini? That's not a martini. A martini has Vodka or gin and vermouth. Garnish with an olive or cocktail onion is optional. Full stop.
I know bars will call them martinis....chocolate martini? WTF?? They're just mixed drinks in a martini glass as far as I'm concerned tho. |

^ yeah we all know that... except they tend to have a higher ratio of alcohol to mixtures
but now a days, people just call them martinis |

I think when you mix sugar with alcohol you kick it up a notch. I think I'm not positive. But someone will know... |

don't think so. i know fruit juice aids absorption as does warming the alcohol but i was under the impression that added sugar helps prevent the effects that alcohol has on blood sugar levels.
morning all |

i once drank 28 bottles of what we in the UK call "alcopops". it's pre-mixed alcohol and sickly sweet mixer. some of them even had an extra dash of vodka in it and i also had a couple of beers.
good night out and still capable of kebab and taxi home. all thanks to the sugar, i think! |

Morning Boring!
Burned alive for "not washing feet"
BEIJING (Reuters) - A Chinese bride burned her new husband to death after he got into bed after a drunken argument without washing his feet, state media reported on Wednesday.
"Wang and his wife, Luo, were married on February 2. The couple, however, frequently fought over trivial things while still on their honeymoon," the official Xinhua news agency quoted a local newspaper as saying.
The couple, from the central province of Hubei, had another fight on the night of March 4, "and in frustration they together drank a bottle of liquor to ease their anger."
"At about 10 p.m., Luo watched her husband get into bed without cleaning or washing his feet. In a fit of anger and intoxication, she set fire to the sheet he was sleeping in," the report said.
"When he awoke, the two began fighting before a very drunk Wang collapsed. As fire engulfed the bedroom. Luo escaped to the living room, leaving her other half to burn," it added.
The woman has been arrested, Xinhua said. |

home from a long day and evening. but it was all good.
although there was a terrible accident involving a tractor trailer on a busy road with construction which resulted in a fatality. had to drive by and it wasn't something anyone should see. keep thinking about his family... they woke up thinking it would be a normal day too...
sorry... that was morbid.
hello new boring! well done, mrpango!
have been sleeping so poorly lately. nothing helps... booze, OTC pills, prescription pills... aaaarrrrggghhhh.
enjoy the saturday! |

I be teh evil.
I found it on a comic site I read. They have a link of the day that people submit, and this was it a couple of days ago. There are actually strategy guides to get the most out of your area!
I just can't stop playing it! |

kind of like when i used to play that silly word game "text twist" or "jewel quest". would wake up in the morning, check in with the site, play a round or five and then get ready for work... felt so ridiculous when leaving the apartment 10 minutes late because i had to reach the next level! |

I used to play text twist.
Another one I would get retardedly sucked into playing was "bejeweled". Stupid flash games. Why must you be so fun?
I should log into my Runescape account and check my character. But I don't have a paid account anymore, so if I take anything out of my bank, I can't get it back in. |

i hated runescape! hated it! hated it! hated it!
bejeweled was fun for a while, but i like the challenge of jewel quest more.
speaking of games, it is high time to break out the PS. been far too long since i've played any real games and i miss it.
i've told you about a good time wasting game online... try it, you will soon be addicted! and it is such a silly game!
g'night! |
