You summarized what you understood of what I said. You understood whatever you wanted to, ignored what you wanted to, and came up with your lame assumption.
So, tell us: how will t¡bet be run. By a Marxist da1a¡ 1ama? That will get some traction I think. Perhaps he can even run the Communist Party of T1bet! Wow.
And WHAT are you advocating after all? I think that even you dont know (that's what I understood from your posts).
Let's see.
Hmm. First let's create some infrastructure. Something like creating a railway so that goods can move more efficiently, a power station, invest in the real estate market, and perhaps invite qualified (or at least MORE qualified) labor to work and invest.
After all we cant live forever of meditation and yak butter (words of the da1a¡ 1ama, remember meditation doesnt fill up stomachs).

t¡bet could be replaced with one of 100 other minorities seeking independence/semi-autonomy etc. I would want a group representing the t¡betan people, probably Samdhong Rinpoche along with the da1a¡ 1ama to meet with Beijing to enter discussions. Regardless of what is going on now, they are not proposing an independent t¡bet - which is apparently what is stopping Beijing meeting with them now. Obviously religious freedom would need to be reinstalled as well as protection for the Chinese minorities that now live there.
Quite clearly the present situation is not advantageous to either Beijing or to t¡betans. Beijing would have much more to gain from finding a solution than merely burrying its head in the sand.
I've not claimed to have a solution and do not know enough on the subject to pretend to have one. It has even been too long since my world ethics class to run through the main ideas. I'm just trying to point out that your notion of events is just as twisted those you point out that believe t¡bet is some sort of spiritual nirvana. |

Bhutan has been a protectorate of India for quite a long time now. I dont know much about it but from what I understand it would be difficult to compare it with t¡bet given that it has a pretty strong monarchy and has been stable for quite a while. From what I just read (I am ignorant on the topic) they just converted to democracy and we will have to see exactly how it goes. Kudos to them. Would that work in t¡bet? Very hard to say.
One thing that looks positive is the limited number of parties, that could be a good thing.
Early to tell. And they have their big brother India giving stability. Good for them.

Exactly which events you are talking about and how are they twisted.
Could you be VERY SPECIFIC?
It's kind of hard to discuss specific points with you if you can only come with the usual yadayda ("enter discussions" "finding a solution"), pre formatted ideas with little practicality.

yes, me is very strange, me is not self-centred, me daily post in here, me spend lots of time on this site and think about the way of how to deal with t¡bet issues for all of us frequently by self, me weakness is impatience, me sickness is behaviors so soft-hearted, me is no forceful, but very strong-minded on getting what I want in life, me is no powerful, but very stubbornness in reality~~~~~~~ |

I think you make some good points and recent threads have encouraged me to learn more about the subject. Unfortunately this kind of line just makes you sound like a prick. I can't see anywhere the other poster has blindly suggested FREE T BET or something even approaching that. |

Hi Buddy,I thought we should leave this "justice" forum asap. I took several hours to read the posts here and I found many pro-china posts be rudely attacked by dirty words and ridiculous comments. Whatever rude behaviour they do is reasonable and normal-mental,at most culture difference. But on the other hand,they stored a lot of words to Chinese:CCP-RULE,BRAINWASHED EDUCATION,POOR,Categorized.,etc. Now I wonder if speaking very dirty words in the pubilc forum(except the adult porn forum) is one of their culture,even some adults who have children already. One more thing, the moderator here(such as Yu888) will change the title of pro-china posts even change the content to the contratory to meet them without the writer's agree. He is definitely one of them.
About the riot in Lhasa,even they confirmed the riot, their points will turn to "why this happen" (of course this is an issuse)and not admit that the police has the right to calm down it by force in any country.
We should leave here. I thought you and me come here just want to share some truth. But they never listen to any truth from Chinese. Let them talk with themselves. Anyway,it seems that here is belong to English-speaking expats only. It's a reasonable piece and there are some quite good comments on there, including from several Chinese people. Can you imagine the Chinese media being so open to enter into a discussion about their reporting. |
