I think this is like asking a question on how long a visa to "Asia" is. A Chinese getting a visa depends on the country they apply to, the country's relations with China, type of visa, purpose of visit, your background etc, etc. As many of us on this board are expats then we don't need to get a visa to our own countries and if we get visa to other countries, the rules will be different. The best way is to go to the webbsite of the Consulate/Embassy of the country you want to visit or give them a call. They usually have recorded information.
Good luck and hope you have a good trip!

It can be very short.
Had a Taiwanese colleague that got just a 2 week visa for Germany with a very narrow validity window. This was with a business justification. |
