"All the governments are tricks."

Of course man!

You don't really need me to explain this to you, do you?

OK, what he means is that all governments tell you what they want you to hear. What makes you feel better, and what seems "good".

It's a trick.

All governments are full of self serving people that are out for their own good. They'll tell you that they're doing things to "help the people", but they're only looking after their own interests.

This is true in the US, in China, and, well, name a country.

Where I'm from in America, we have a saying... "All the people who are qualified to be the President are too smart to take the job".

Let's look at a general cross-section of American people and Chinese people for example.
Americans, by the whole, are hard working, patriotic people.
Chinese, by the whole, are hard working, patriotic people.

Americans value family and will do whatever is needed to help their family.
Chinese value family and will do whatever is needed to help their family.

Etc, etc, etc. I can go on forever about the similarities between Chinese and American people, and in fact any other people on Earth.

What divides countries is politics and ignorance, and sometimes (or quite a bit) religion.

People making decisions for reasons that the average person isn't even involved with, or concerned with.

Does the average Chinese person or the average American confound themselves on a daily basis with trade regulations and federal budgets?

Hell no. Your average person is concerned about having a good job, taking care of their family, getting food, etc., no matter what country they live in.

You know what the main difference is with say, Chinese people and Americans? Nothing.

Granted, you will get radicals anywhere. We'll have Chinese saying that the west is undermining everything, and people from the west saying that China is a threat to everything.

Believe what you will, but everyone has more in common than they sometimes want to admit.

Getting angry about something is much easier than trying to understand.

I'm no exception. I get angry about some things in China often because they don't coincide with my personal ideas. I know it's a little stupid, but sometimes I can't help it. And sometimes, honestly, people are just retarded.

I'm trying to work through it, but honestly, there are some concepts in China that I will NEVER agree with. Like "cheating and stealing" is clever if you don't get caught, and "appearing to be something" is just as good as "being good at something".

Such as "appearing to be strong and powerful" is better than doing, say, a competent job.

I know many people in China that get ahead more from bullshite than ability, because they "appear" to be doing a good job, or people think that they're "strong and powerful".

I go to work, do an outstanding job, 10 times more than what was expected, but get refused a raise because I "don't appear powerful enough". Which basically means, I don't scream and yell at employees, and because I use a Western management system that has actually increased productivity by 120%. Apparently, putting together a team of good people in China, who do all their work, and do everything I ask quickly and efficiently means I am a bad manager, since I don't berate them in front of everyone, or kick them in the face.

Sorry, I can never buy into that. Maybe I don't appear "strong and powerful", yet results of my management have improved productivity and general morale in the office. This doesn't matter, however, because I don't kick my staff in the face on a daily basis. Doing a good job in China means nothing if you don't have the ability to berate people and consider them to be of a lesser species. Face kicking seems to be a prerequisite as well.

Maybe the ideals of "Strong and Powerful" in China need revision.

I currently work for a Chinese company.

Any foreign owned companies in Shanghai that are looking for that elusive graphic designer/programmer hybrid, please send me a message.

I think we all went off topic.... which was? lol

Something about being like Mark Sptiz and Bruce Lee and how being proud of being America is a good thing.

There's also saying that Bruce Lee was murdered indirectly by American through a kinda very special device.

And that kinda very special device was invented by American muscle training experts.

A muscle relaxant?
The exact details of his death are controversial. No one really knows, but the doctors that examined him stated that it was probably a muscle relaxant in a pain killer he took (that was given to him by a Taiwanese actress, if I remember correctly...) that induced a seizure.

So, maybe he was poisoned. But by who, well, pick a theory you like, noone really knows.

ELEVEN
1) New York City has 11 letters

2) Afghanistan has 11 letters.

3) Ramsin Yuseb (The terrorist who threatened to destroy the Twin Towers in 1993) has 11 letters.

4) George W Bush has 11 letters.

This could be a mere coincidence, but this gets more interesting:

1) New York is the 11th state.

2) The first plane crashing against the Twin Towers was flight number 11.

3) Flight 11 was carrying 92 passengers.
9 + 2 = 11

4) Flight 77 which also hit Twin Towers, was carrying 65 passengers.
6+5 = 11

5) The tragedy was on September 11, or 9/11 as it is now known.
9 + 1+ 1 = 11

6) The date is equal to the US emergency services telephone number 911.
9 + 1 + 1 = 11.

Sheer coincidence..?! Read on and make up your own mind:

1) The total number of victims inside all the hi-jacked planes was 254.
2 + 5 + 4 = 11.

2) September 11 is day number 254 of the calendar year.
Again 2 + 5 + 4 = 11.

3) The Madrid bombing took place on 3/11/2004.
3 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 4 = 11.

4) The tragedy of Madrid happened 911 days after the Twin Towers incident.

Now this is where things get totally eerie:

The most recognised symbol for the US, after the Stars & Stripes, is the Eagle. The following verse is taken from the Quran, the Islamic holy book:

"For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle.
The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced:
for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah and there was peace."

That verse is number 9.11 of the Quran.

Still uncovinced about all of this..?! Try this and see how you feel afterwards.

Open Microsoft Word and do the following:

1. Type in capitals Q33 NY. This is the flight number of the first plane to hit one of the Twin Towers.

2. Highlight the Q33 NY.

3. Change the font size to 48.

4. Change the actual font to the WINGDINGS1

What do you think now?!!

Still no peace in those lands.
Guess the Eagle didn't cleanse so well.
Interesting numerology.
