Most of the places I go to have tons of WII's on the shelves.
I haven't seen any shortages here.
Did you try in the super sekrit mall under the Metro?
The lady I buy from there had at least 5 WII's in stock last time I was there (albeit 1 month ago). |

Hi all,
Anybody out there with an update when it comes to the newest prices for the WII?
I read that "dr3" was quoted 1480rmb for the console, 1 controller, and 2 games, and this was back in March. So have the price gone down since then?
Edit
I guess not, since I just read in another post that somebody else on this forum got quoted around 1800RMB for a Japanese console (and somebody said that this was a really good price). So what's the deal with all this? Have the price went up instead of down since back in March, or can somebody please fill in the details.
I'm thinking of heading over to the place on Beijing xi lu later this week (passed it many times, but never went it), but before doing that, it would be great to know what price I could expect to pay today.
Cheers! |

Some of you Wii owners may be interested in this new thing coming soon:
http://www.gamertell.com/gaming/comment/nintnedo-to-release-motionplus -wiimote-attachment/
Called "Motion Plus", it's an add-on to the Wii-Mote controller, and gives much more precise control. Eg in previous tennis games on Wii you just wildly swing the controller but on-screen you hit the ball the same way each time, with this you supposedly get more accurate 1:1 control. Should be pretty cool. |

I got a wii fit package for 2850 rmb at Mei Luo Cheng yesterday. It included: wii, 2 controllers, silicone controller covers, wii fit, and 10 extra games (wii fit game disc came with the wii fit). |

So the WII console with 2 controllers and a couple of games for around 1.800RMB wouldn't be totally out of line then?
I guess you bought the JAP-version? If so, did it come with a power converter, or did you have to buy that separately? (how much?)

japanese version, and came with a power converter. i think the wii console with 1 controller they quoted originally was 1700. then plus the extra controller, power converter, games and wii fit, it was 2850. |

Tnx!
Sorry, but I do have one more follow up question for the board. Does anybody know if Super Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart now works with consoles that have been modded here in SH? Or is it still the same problem with a couple of games (that you can't play them if your system is modded)
Also, is it possible to get the D2Pro9 v2.0 chip here in SH, or do the consoles here come with any other modchip? (like Wasabi V2 for example)
Cheers |
