Post subject: Blu-Ray Movies in China

Are they really BR or is it just another fake ? I mean for 6 rmb the packaging looks ok but I would think something would come up during the dvd start to say it is blu ray. I'm guessing 5 peso's they aren't really HD

alot of DVD not use the Blueray cover, but are standard DVD fare.

There are some Coppied Bleurays Available, but they are burned on dvd9 and are only 720p. with 5.1 Dolby Digital soundtrack.

It's burned on a normal DVD-ROM but can only be played back by BD players.

There are some places where you can actually buy original BluRay Movies , which is also a little bit shade.
There is quite a big gray market of confiscated BD Movies ( suppose by customs) that where supposed to be destroyed .
Usually the coverbox ans slightly bended and ripped , but the disk play fine.
