2bdrms between Min Hang and Changning is abou 4000RMB, one room near Jin Zhong lu is much cheaper than 1st one.

You will have tons of apartments to choose from in this areas. As irene001 said they would be 4,000rmb per month for a new good quality apartment and less for an older one. Best to go to the area and visit the many local agents. The owners who buy from these agents then go back to them to put them on their books if they want to rent them out. So, I'd say 70% would be at agents out there. As you will be dealing with a local agent then things would be in Chinese. Have a look at our advice on leasing to give you some advice on what to do.
