Post subject: Grand Gateway

I'm not living in Shanghai, just visiting for a few days from tomorrow, and I've been told a shop I'm looking for is in Grand Gateway.
Can someone tell me what the Chinese is for Grand Gateway, and which part of town it's in? Pinyin will do fine.

Thanks in advance!

T.P.

No need for the chinese, but im sure someone can help you with it!

It's in the centre of Xujiahui, there is a metro station there, and Grand Gateway is clearly labeled in English on the Exit signs. I think it's either exit 12 or 14. You can walk straight through into the shopping centre from the metro. Otherwise, if you are on the street, you will see a big shopping centre on every corner... One is clearly labeled 'Grand Gateway' in green!

Grand Gateway is located in Xujiahui, one of the most famous commercial area, in pinyin it's Gang Hui Guang Chang (Gang Hui Plaza). Every taxi driver knows where it is. (in pinyin)

You can say this:

GAN HUI

Gan - but say 'gun'

Hui - but say 'who-ay' really quickly.

Thanks, Canuckian for the pic.
I got the Chinese off the sign there, heh heh. Neat.
So it's Gang(3) Hui(4) Guang(3) Chang(3).

Thanks to all. It's appreciated.
