| Post subject: My X SAT only gets 1 channel |
Greetings all. I apologize if I'm beating a dead horse here but I couldn't find my answer by searching past forum posts.
I recently moved into an apartment in Xujiahui which had an X SAT box already installed. When I plugged in the satellite cable I could only receive one channel...the "morally sound Christian programing channel". How ironic.
The card, which was already in the box, had "GALAXY" with a "2" and also something about "PRUSSIA" on it. From what I could find, the channel list mirrors that of DREAM.
Was this a pirated box which has been effected by the recent system change I've read about, or is there something simple that I'm missing? Any help or guidance would be much appreciate. Thank you.

It means the previous tenant failed to replace the now expired decoder card. The system had been updated and a new current card must be inserted. A common occurance and too frequent for me, so no longer enjoy pirated satellite TV channels from the beloved Phillipines.  |

If your tenancy contract includes satellite TV contact your landlord and ask him to sort it out. |
