| Post subject: seeking doggy midwife consultation |
Long story shortened, the Assistant currently has a second job as Assistant Dog Owner. Bitch owner, to be more accurate. And the bitch in question came with an unborn complement of new doggies.
That's all okay but Dual Assistant is going leave shortly for three weeks. This leaves the even-less experienced Main Dog Owner on her own. This is their first dog. She knows nothing. I have some concerns for the little girl's health. (The furry little girl, not the Main Owner girl.)
Is there anyone here with experience in dog births who wouldn't mind doing some consultation and maybe being available for emergency questions ? My trust in Chinese vets is low and Major Owner is not wealthy so foreigner dog hospitals are not in the picture. Major Owner is about 25, Chinese, female, decent personality, reasonable English so don't have to fear involvement with the less desirable aspects of Shanghai.
