Post subject: Varicose vein - laser surgery

I am new to Shanghai and don't know possibilities and costs for a procedure to address varicose veins on the back of my leg. I believe that a laser procedure is available on an outpatient basis. Does anyone have a recommendation on where to go and how much it might cost?

Check out Bioscor, they do this. But they are currently renovating so you will have to wait till sometime in August when they reopen. They should have a website that you can check out. The price I think is around 3000 rmb for two legs....but really depends on how much or little you need done.

I had mine done in Hong Kong- saw a great surgeon. I did not laser them, but stripped them. My Dr. does both procedures, but the old fashioned way was much better and they are less likely to return, as they are removed near the groin. The procedure was not very painful and healed quickly.
