watched an interview with Gerry Harvey on ABC this morning. Love this old bloke. I am going to do some research on the company.  |

He saw an opportunity after getting screwed over by Bondy, and ended up buying him out. How cool is that. |

Alan Bond is an absolute snake and coward... Watch his interview with Andrew Denton and you will see a man who refuses to take responsibility for his actions and chooses to blame everything on someone else who has since passed away.
Wouldn't invest in retailers at the moment. I like Woodside Petroleum... it has served me well thus far.... |

Retail stocks like the reject shop may do well and also pawnshop cash converter may do well.
really don't want to jump on commodity bandwagon.
and it may be time to start thinking about buying US properties. I have an excellent suggestion for CIC: forget about blackstone(sucks), go to US and suck up all residential properties. |

Getting licences for child care centres could be great... Those could end up being like abalone licences (back in the day, the government was handing them out for virtually nothing and nowadays abalone licences cost a fortune). |
