Post subject: Cheap(ish) hotels in Beijing during Olympics
You keep hearing about how half the hotels in Beijing won't be sold out for the Olympics and are having to slash prices and such, but does anyone have any concrete examples? Anyone actually booked anywhere between say 300-600 RMB a night?

What they mean is this.

Example:

Every day price 300rmb per night.
Olympics price 3000rmb per night
OMG! SLASH THE PRICES 30% price 2100rmb per night.

They're slashing the Olympics price, not the regular price

Yeah - booked the homeinn for 10 days. Think its 398 a night for a big bed business room.
