with any relationship it requires understanding and patience and its amplified a thousand times in cross cultural relationships and above that well a cross cultural relationship with a HIGH maintanence version...forget it. The only way these would work is for a secret life...back to the bars etc to get a soft ear. Can't see the point in staying in that crap so for me it would be exit stage left and dump it fast. Haaa.... have to say I agree Eagle1 a lot!

As a girl who was from south of China, I have been stayed shanghai for several years; When graduated from university, everything looks so interesting, bars, restaurants, new friends, travel, dancing, changing job, easy to be happy and satisfied, everyone loves stage1.

Tried to settle down with a shanghaiese guy, didn't work out.

Ever thought if time went back, what I would choose, a normal life, like most of my classmates, get a husband, a kid, a stable job or still the current life, from exciting stage1, to Stage2, a little bit painful, but good for grow up, till the current stage3, confusion sometimes, but still keep going.

Not sure what the definition of "Elite", with outstanding beauty, successful career or RICH BF? I don't have one of them now, but most of time I'm happy and relaxed, didn't regret all stages what I have been though, that's something amazing about life, exploring and experiencing!

Ppl are different, simply hope everyone here enjoy own stage, will back to you once I got stage4 someday:)
