| Post subject: Elders Meats |
I placed an order with Elders Meats over the weekend and had it delivered today. What a diasater, the guy who contacted me should not be dealing with western customers... if he told me "ya ya ya" with a Chinese Aussie accent one more time i was ready to shoot him. Today they were late with the delivery after I gave them a 3 hour window, then they said they would come in 1 hour so I went out and got in a taxi and then 10 minutes later they called and said the delivery man was there so turn the taxi around...my first and last order, City Shop has worse meat but its easier to get in a taxi and go there. |

Must say, it's great product though, but they recently seem to have got a new "customer service" person in who has no idea what his job title means. |

Have been satisfied with the service and products (mostly steaks) from JP at CZ trading.

Their products are great and it's a good website to order from. Just seems their new "customer service" person has no idea what his job is. He obviously has problems deciding between when his customers want the delivery and when he thinks they should have it. Other than that, i like Elders. |

Mat, I agree that the problem is the people (meaning the guy I dealt with) and not the product. I dont know Anna and Craig but they need to get involved with thier customer service FAST. |

Elders are doing everything they can to improve and develop an efficient method of delivery and customer service which as you can appreciate in Shanghai traffic not one of the easist things to do. Their business is growing fast. If you have any issues I know that you can contact them directly the office number is 3872 0368
If there are problems out there in order to improve the customer service it always good to provide feedback so something can be done about it. |

perhaps you could ask Craig from Elders to log in and give us an explanation rather than everyone here who is disappointed with service having to call him? |

you obviouslly work for them, and there is no need to prternd you don't.
Interesting how the Traffic is the cause of the problems. My stuff was trying to be delivered 1-1/2 days EARLY. That's some weird traffic.
Anyway, great products, normally great service. Just seems your logistics guy has some issues in listening to when his customers want the stuff. |

Having a company that also delivers product, i can understand stuff being a little late. The traffic is nasty. days early on the other hand..
Tip if ordering from Elders. Get the leg of lamb and roast it up. SENfrigginSATIONAL. |

OVen Smoven....
Fire up the grill!
Which I did tonight...
Which caused my nosy and paranoid Chinese neighbors to call security...for the 57th time.
Which caused Security to call me and say there was a fire....
Which caused me to say "I am sorry, I do not speak Chinese"...
Which caused them to say "fire fire...BBQ, BBQ"....
Which caused me to say "Damn Betcha...c'mon up and have a ribeye"...
Which caused them to say "OK,OK....putout, put, out"
Which caused me to say.." Sure...as soon as the rib-eye is done...."
God, I LOVE China!!!! |

laf- at least you got the rib eye!
You had steak while they were chewing on chickens feet; it's a fair payback. |

no probs. get yourself to best buy, and buy a small benchtop oven. a bit bigger than a toaster oven. i got one called WELHOME. about 500 to 700 rmb. somewhere in there, can't remember, but it is friggin amazing!. does a great job on the roast. |
