Look at specialized markets, licensed version for 1000+ rmb.
Also ask sellers and probably they give you CHEAP advance. |

real versions are available if you go to the right shops, it's cheaper than US version because the version sold in China has reduced features, so you can't really compare price, just make sure not to pay the USA price. 800~1000 sounds about right but I didn't try to bargain. |

just bought the lastest version. I payed 1200rmb, guy came and did all backups and installed it. I'm quite happy now! |

I'm not sure what the price is there but you could order it in the states ($115-130) have it shipped to your parents/friends. All they have to do is tell you the 25 character Key. Then you just download the ISO image (cd image) from online. If you want to order online, goto Newegg.com. Great prices. They have XP Pro w/ SP3 for $139
If you want to do this I will create an image for you and upload it to my webserver. I am a System/Network Admin so I deal with this type of thing everyday.. |
