Hi all,
I got a call yesterday from some old Moon River Diner customers and also one of our old managers.......it seems that upon their travels to Hong Mei Lu yesterday they were handed the new menu for Baastians new diner ( he took over the old MRD spot) Fine fair enough but........what is totally not right is that he took our old MRD menu and just simply changed the name of the restaurant. He covered up MRD and left the menu and all its MRD items exactly the same!!! (Santa Ana, all of our burgers, Taco Salad, Chorizo ect) Shocked

He is using all of our promotions and deals......when Amy confronted him he told her "I didn't do the menu, I was not there when it was done" whatever the hell that means.
Although MRD has closed its doors, we just want the public and our loyal customers to know that this new restaurant has nothing to do with MRD. Baastians should have just let us RIP!!! Crying or Very sad

Obviously Baastian has been here too long and he's turned local.

Agreed. Had a sandwich there a week or so ago. Biggest disappointment of the day ... now the place is pretty much Yet Another Shanghai Ripoff.

At least their bread doesn't have that nasty Shanghai taste yet.
