If I may ask have you played Xbox 360 and how would you say it compares to that system?
Nintendo games not available on other systems asides.
Also does it play Gamecube games? |

I've owned 2 Xbox 360 systems before moving out here, but like I wrote in my first post, I've only used the Wii 4 or 5 times. Therefore I don't know if I'm the right guy to answer that question.
Perhaps a quick google search can help you out on that one? I just did one, and got quit a few answers - both pro Wii and of course others that like the 360 better. (as one would imagine when comparing different game consoles)
I haven't tried any Gamecube games on it, but the info I've been told, it is backward compatible with Gamecube games;
The Wii is Nintendo's fifth home console, the direct successor to the Nintendo GameCube, and able to play all official GameCube games. source = Wikipedia
