Post subject: Hey guys! Where can I buy...

- GOOD cat food... the kind that doesn't have additives and bone meal and all that other gross stuff? So far at all the pet stores I've seen, they only have brands like Purina and Friskies.

- biodegradable, flushable kittie litter, like Nature's Best or Feline Pine. It smells better and it's so easy to get rid of. I NEED IT.

Thanks!

Good cat food -> prepare it on your own? You can find recipes for cat food all over the internet Smile

I'm giving our cat in turns Purina fish stuff and real chicken, fish, carrots etc. + dry cat food.

But if you happen to find Almo Nature, Porta21 or Applaws please let me know!

I didn't see flushable cat litter too but considering the "good" quality of sewer pipes here I would rather use the normal stuff Wink

That's too bad, the flushable cat litter was such a life saver for me (and it's more environmentally friendly than clay!). Oh well, to the regular stuff it is.

I need a good dry cat food mainly, would be happy to prepare the kitty dinner otherwise.

Maybe you should specifiy your question Wink which brand are you looking for?

Did you already try PAWS? We buy our dry cat food there: Royal Canin.
I don't remember if they have other brands like Hill's ....but may be someone else knows Smile

Here is the address: No.15, 722 Xin Hua Lu 新华路
(next to Kaixuan Lu 凯旋路), Changning District
Phone: 52540611

You can also go there by metro 3 or 4. It's a short walk either from West Yan'an Road or Hongqiao Lu metro station.

Well, I used either World's Best or Feline Pine clumpable cat litter in the U.S.

For food, I'd feed her Nature's Best for Indoor Cats. I usually went for natural or organic foods. I know that makes me sound like a yuppie, but after all the food scares I thought it was best. Plus my cat smelled better and got a glossier coat.

Thanks for the info! I'll check out PAWS.

Very Happy Nice to meet you - I wouldn't call myself yuppie but I'm a veggie on organic food trip too (although that's always a real challenge when being in China Wink )
