Hello,
This site has been great for answers to questions I have, even the dumb ones, so here we go again.
In Mexico, when I wanted see some sights, I hired a cab and a driver for the day a few times. It was great and not very expensive actually. I would guess this is also possible in Shanghai. Anyone done it?
Are there private car/driver/ guides that you have seen or used? Any idea of the per day cost?
Thanks! |

You can hire a car with driver plus an student with English major for several days or weekends. I've hired a car before with driver and translator trough the University during my stay in Qingdao. I sugest you to contact the Foreign affairs department or International Students center for more information. I belief Tong Ji, Jiao Tong, Fu dan or the others will have the service.
If you can't find the correct details, just sent me a PM and I'll ask my colleagues at Jiao Tong,
Hope you have a great stay,
