Post subject: TV Compatability question
Hello, I am moving from The Netherlands to Shanghai and was wondering if my European TV will work in Shanghai. When we moved here from the US, the connection were different. These TV's are HD and have the Scart card connections (I think that is what they are called). Appreciate any help.

Don't bother bringing a tv.

They're cheap here, and support any standard.
Not worth shipping them really.

47" HD set is about 8000RMB here, and any apt you will rent will have a TV supplied with it.

TV's from the Netherlands will work fine in Shanghai.

Works fine. Any good satellite receiver and otherDVD players also have scart connections as well.

Well at elast I know mine do.
