| Post subject: Just when the DVD movie got interesting... |
.... it stutters and freezes frame eventually.
How many of you guys have had this problem. Usually this problem happens in every 15th DVD I watch but this time its been nasty - and whats more, its from a bunch of expensive 10Y DVD 9s!
Here are the usual DVD problems, do you have more to add?
- DVD starts stuttering and freezing. Eventually it freezes. If you're lucky, you may get ahead by skipping 2-3 chapters but whats the point.
- Heres a really nasty one ... all of the sudden, the DVD stops - the entire chapters are missing! I mean wtf!
- This happens with pseudo good prints where the prints are fine but the sound is boxy!
- Pseudo Prints 2 - Somehow, I don't know how they do it but the movie chapter loops again with the dialogue not in sync!
- The So called DVD is....a darn VCD!
- The So called DVD is ....a Div X!
- The movie is great, the sound and copy is great....and in the middle of the movie ... it switches to Russian!
- DVD is nothing what it says on the cover.
- Spanish movie doesnt have a gay sex scene. Unbelievable.

same thing for me...
most annoying is when you get a good copy by means of picture quality and real 5.1 surround in... RUSSIAN!!! of course, you can then opt for the real crappy english stereo.
the missing gay sex scene in spanish movies is obviously just as outrageuos. the often enough missing nazi in german movies just as well. |

I've had a few problems like this. But most are solved by cleaning the disc. Wiping from centre to edge with a soft cloth usually does the trick. |

I got pretty disappointed with DVD copies in Shanghai. I expected better copies from here than from the small city I was last year.
Now, I just watch online. Free. No downloading. Only needs Internet connection (of course). |

I lived in Xiamen until recently and you're right the quality was better, probably they were smuggled from Taiwan |
