| Post subject: How much of your life is spent on pointless posts? |
It really is amazing. Actually, a phenomenon. After not being on this site for some years, I had to come back just to see the madness. As an outside observers perspective, it is quite obvious that the Open Chat is 90% complete gibberish and nonsense, with really no point whatsoever. Its weird insults that have no bearing on reality, and odd racist and stereotypical generalizations that keep the insults coming. Then you have Chinglish posts, that are almost impossible to decipher, sandwiched by more insults. You look at some posters numbers and they are well into the 10s of thousands of posts. It makes me wonder, how many hours or even days worth of time were spent on these posts that are virtually meaningless.
I don't even really know what to make of it all. Its like nothing I've ever seen or experienced. All I know, is its complete insanity. It would be interesting for some Psychotherapist to do a psychological profile on some of the regulars here into the why and how. |

Hi yu. Good to hear from you. I just popped in to see whats new. Apparently, not a whole lots with some of the folks.
I was in Xiamen for a bit last year. Very interesting part of China to live in. Quite the contrast to Shanghai.
Now I am living in San Fran and I have my own Acupuncture clinic, doing what I love, which is Chinese Medicine. I hope you and your family are doing well. Any more kids on the way? |

I think those people who post excessively much here on shanghaiexpat (esp. open chat) must be lacking something seriously in their life.
I'm 100% sure about that. nothing to be ashamed of, there are many things I miss in my life. |

I don't think that something especially sex that you need to miss or not in your life, I mean if you meet your right man or woman and think him or her is worth you to relate with, then just go and act it in your next second, but if you think that someone maybe he or she is not ready or not worth you to relate or to share your love with, then why you just wanna fool yourself for that meaningless sex or body riding in your life? I never sex with the man which I never know anything about him to piss me off in reality, so nothing to be missed, nothing to be schamed, but just do what the things it can be valuable or meaningful or trustful by your own, my dear Sienna~~~~~~ |
