Post subject: Need a fire extinguisher

Where can I buy a fire extinguisher for home use? Aiyi had an unfortunate grease fire at the sove, this time luckily nothing happened, want to be prepared next time. Haven't seen them in Careffour or other hypermarts....

most apartment complexes have them in the central hallways for use in case of such, but I think I have seen extinguishers at Metro

B&Q or Metro are the best bets, but you should google or youtube up some grease fire 'what to do' videos - it's surprising what you'll find (not intuitive).

NEVER, EVER, use a fire extinguisher on a grease fire.

It will simply blow hot flaming grease around the kitchen.

A wet towel draped over the pot or fry pan should smother the fire.
