| Post subject: HELP!! Buying new laptop |
I guess I will upgrade my laptop whilst in Hong Kong. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Really need a good solid but light weight one for travel. Only using basic programs, word, office, power point, coffe making program, etc...... Needs to be KISSable (Keep It Simple Stupid). Well priced too.
I've read too many reviews over night and my head is spinning.
I trust the highly intelligent, educated wisdom of SOME of my fellow expats and appreciate any good, sound advice!

Well if your really only doing the basics, you can try something that's been exploding in popularity over the past year which is the netbook.
This link explains a litlte bit more if you aren't too clear on what they are.

HP/Commpaq 2510p is small and packs a punch. I am somewhat bias as I have one. Battery also lasts about 4-5 hrs which is good for long flights |
