can anyone provide me some information to sponsor a child or orphan in shanghai area?

please reply with useful and helpful information.

These are the charity groups that I know of that provide support and assistance for needy children and families in different capacities.

If you call Lifeline they should have a more comprehensive list Tel: 6279 8990 or maybe the Shanghai Community Centre on 6406 4276.

Heart to Heart Shanghai
H2Hsh provides support and financial assistance to needy Chinese children who require heart surgery to repair their congenital heart defects.
