Note to moderators: I apologize if you deem this post to not belong here. I understand if the topic is subsequently moved. However, I thought it would still be applicable to this forum. Thanks for reading, and thanks for understanding.

Can anyone here recommend a place, or a few places in Shanghai, where one can meet quality, beautiful women? By this I mean not escorts, not prostitutes, not KTV workers, not happy ending massage girls.

I don't want to meet beautiful hired guns. I want to meet beautiful regular girls, who have regular jobs. I don't even care if she works at Burger King. Money isn't an issue here. I don't mind taking girls out to dinner. But I don't want to pick up hookers, and I don't want to "buy" a girl. I'm just looking for a quality, beautiful girl. That's all. Pretty simple.

I know I will undoubtedly be labeled as "shallow" and may even get flamed for posting something like this, but I know there must be other guys here who want an answer to this question: Where can we go to meet the beautiful girls of Shanghai?

I live in the JingAn Temple area, but have so far been disappointed by the lack of talent walking around. Have chatted up some girls on the street, but beautiful girls have been few and far between here.

I have similarly been to bars and clubs in Shanghai, such as Muse, Babyface, etc. and have similarly been disappointed.

So my question is this, does anyone here have any idea where to meet beautiful girls here? I am willing to spend any amount of money on cover charges for a specific bar/club if, you can recommend them. I have heard good things about Richy. Has anyone been to this club, or can anyone recommend a good nightlife location to meet beautiful women?

If they hang out in a certain department store or certain part of town, I'm willing to go there too. I don't have a day job so I'm not working during the day.

If they go to a certain restaurant(s), I'm willing to eat there, too.

If you recommend a university, I'm open to checking that out too.

If they hang out in a certain part of town during a certain time of day, i.e. Nanjing West Road at 6 pm on weekdays, then I'm open to that too.

If you recommend a good website, I'm open to checking that out too.

But there must be, there have to be more beautiful girls than I have seen here so far. It's a city of 15 million people.

So far, every club I have been to has either been disappointing or there have been way too many prostitutes. And no, I am not talking about TongRen Road south of Nanjing West Road, either.

It seems to be like this across the board: even if you go to a "decent" club, 80 percent of the place is reserved tables, so even if there are beautiful girls, you'd have to break into their group and chat up someone else's girl.

Anyhow, I'm open to hearing your suggestions and hope someone can answer my question.

Han, you've got to understand something...

Any Chinese girl who you would put in the 'nice' catogary will not be found hanging out at clubs... infact, they probably won't drink at all.

Now, just walk round Xujiahui on a nice sunny day and you'll see plenty of cute girls...

Appreciate the reply. You're entitled to your own opinion, of course.

I don't think it's weird for a guy to want a cool hot girl to hang out with.

It's very easy to just get action here. I've been in Asia for a while, I speak both Chinese and Japanese, and I'm not some 16 year old looking to get laid for the first time. I'm looking for a quality girl, so that's why I asked an honest question.

If my original question bothers you, well, there's no need to reply. No harm done. Right?

Beautiful girls in Shanghai are a dime a dozen. If you are having problems finding them, the issue is you and not location.

underh20 is right. Have you been walking around with your eyes shut? But it wasn't so long ago that you were saying about Shanghai on another thread: "You can find really hot girls here..." What went wrong? Maybe it's the Shanghai girls who need to lower their standards...then you might get lucky.

huh? if you think muse doesn't have pretty girls, then I don't know whats wrong with you....

richy is the same as muse, many rich pretty chinese girls. I always see beautiful girls on nanjing xi lu, the restaurant charmante on huaihai xi road, Baby doll in raffles city, even starbucks. also many trendy people go to Bellagio restaurant.

I gess it is true that the ratio of pretty girls in the town is quite small, but of course they exist, you just need to open your eyes Smile

I sincerely hope that your post is a joke. With such monodimensional criterion an escort would probably be a more appropriate match. You haven't been able to find a non-pro that meets your standard in a city of 20 million people?

How do you come to think that all the prettiers are to be found in special places? I find that they are mixed pretty well, so anywhere you go there are a lot of average ppl. and some ugly, some gorgeous. Just like everywhere in the world...
If they go to special places and are waiting to be picked up by some rich laowei, no wonder a lot of them are "professionals". Rolling Eyes

Cheers for the reply. Tokyo, I have found, is a bit different from anywhere else I have been to (and I have lived on 4 continents in my life, so far).

In Tokyo there are hundreds of thousands of beautiful women walking around everywhere, any time of day, any day of the week. Shibuya 109 department store probably has no less than 200 ultra babes walking around there at any given time.

Take your pick: Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ikebukuro, Shinagawa, etc. Choose any major station and just go there. Thousands of hot girls walking around. Too many to count. It's like a beautiful girl farm.

I don't know if you'd be too interested in that, though. Laughing

There are other guys that are as shallow as you? Of that I am certain. Although life experience tells me that, thankfully, they are the exception rather than the rule for anyone over the age of 25. My advice would be the same - hire a pro. Hey, her only job is to look good and pretend to like you (universal you not personal you). You get the desired arm candy and she gets hard....cash. Seems more honest that way.
