sorry i was just sent a phone number in latin letters (e.g. P, X, R, W, V, etc.) but don't know what it means. i'm assuming it's a chinese thing. if anybody knows could you please explain |

Are you sure it wasn't some scam asking you to text the letters to some service.
China Mobile are famous for their weird codes for "promotional" deals. Even their
standard account check SMS is "YECX" |
