Post subject: We are definitely moving! Need help w/ a dog question.......

We have received the official confirmation from our company that we are moving to Shanghai. Shocked We will be moving within 6-8 weeks. Now the fun begins!! Very Happy

We are originally from the U.S., but are now living in Germany. We will be bringing our two dogs with us. I have read most of the posts and the article on pets that was recently posted, but I still have a couple of questions.

Does anyone know if heartworms are a problem in Shanghai? This does exist in the U.S., but not in Germany.

We just had the dogs vaccinated today. We know that we have to get a health certificate from the vet for the airlines and entrance to China. The certificates here would obviously be in German. Does anyone know if we would need to get this translated to Chinese or English?

Thanks!!

No need to translate it. But most Chinese in the Quarantine and Inspection office read English much better than German, so it can't hurt.
