OK, folks. If you use P2P softwares like Edonkey2000 or BitTorrent. You can get any series or movies you want from most any large countries. The 4400, Lost, and Desperate Houswives are all on season 2 now and it's already being uploaded onto the ED2K network and Bittorrent. I'm watching Smallville season 5 and Boston Legal Season 2. There are also tons of Chinese. Korean, and Japanese series you can download, and a lot of them has subs. Not mentioning all the movies that are too many to keep up with.

For a scary flick, "Creep" is pretty good.

Latest Kung Fu flick is Tsui Hark's "Seven Swords"

Best Sci-Fi series is "Stargate sg-1, Stargate Atlantis, and Battlestar Galactica" 4400 is more of a drama

Best Chinese Series from Hong Kong is "revolving doors of veangence"

Best Korean series is "Pearl in the Palace"

Best Chinese Mandarin Series is "Number One In the World"

Of course these are relative new releases and they are just my personal opinion.

Negotiator sucks.

Millenium? What's it about? Any good?

Les Choristes. Cannot get enough of it.

I watched "The Negotiator" on the plane - thoroughly enjoyed it, but I think it only works i n that context - being stuck thousands of feet in the air with nothing else to do. Otherwise it is too formulaic nd predictable.

For a good movie, probably a little bit girlie, you cannot go wrong with "The Princess Bride". Never met anyone who didn't love it.

The Princess Bride is not as good as "The Princess Diaries" 1, and not 2. 2, the royal engagement wasn't as good because Ann Hathaway was in production for "Ella Enchanted" around the same time, which was a very cute chic flick. For the ultimate chick flick, you must watch "the Phantom of the Opera 2004 movie" Everything in it just kicks ass.

The Princess Bride is one of my alltime favorite films, hands down.

Inconceivable that anyone would think Princess Diaries is better. I enjoyed Princess Diaries (1, not 2 which was really, really bad)... but adore Princess Bride. The book is even better...

I can think of one reason. Ann Hathaway is a lot more prettier than the girl in The Princess Bride, and better endowed.Smile Ann Hathaway and Emmy Rossum are my 2 favorite actresses, not because of their acting skills even though Emmy Rossum is pretty good, but of their super gorgeouse looks. In case you haven't realize, I'm a man talking from a man's perspective.Smile

I am watching " cruel intentions" in my home, no good plot in it, but some charming guy I like him a lot , his name in that movie is Sebstian.

I am tempted to recommend confusing movies like Casino Royale, Barbarella and Doctore Strangelove to Nathalie25 and wait to read her comments (and questions) on this forum. Am I too mean or what?

This guy Seb is a kid. Is it one of those American college movies, where a bunch of annoying teenagers get eaten one by one by a giant cockroach? Normally the black kid gets eaten first, but really it doesnt matter.

Nathalie, the guy in your pics is Ryan Phillippe (dunno if I spelt that right). Dishy, but very young.Very Happy

I'd recommend pretty much anything with Billy Crystal or Tom Hanks in it - almost anything. "When harry met Sally" and "sleepless in Seattle". Not very original but you just can't beat a great script and wonderful acting. Total chick flicks.

Oh and "Life is Beautiful". Poignant and wonderful.

Stay away from "Millionaire Dollar Baby" - despite numerous Oscars and accolades, I thought the film was a total downer. Just left me feeling sad and not at all entertained.

I would definitely recommend <Collateral> and <Birth>.

For the latter one, you could find how Nicole Kidman got freaked out by a little boy who claimed to be her dead husband. "I am Shawn!" Priceless!!!

"Normally the black kid gets eaten first, but really it doesnt matter."

Sometimes they dont even have a black guy in a teenager movie.

You are right Lemonade, there shouldnt be any black guy in an American teenager movie, unless they are all black (black movie for black people, no white people in sight for the entire movie) or they are the monsters. Thats the American dream.

yeh, i do not really like this movie, but quite fun to see the babies play the games in it, espcially some games of love(even i dislike the love games a lot), but however, this is movie not real realities, so don't worry about that I will suffer it in my life or not, because i am single.

by the way, sometimes, i don't think lemongrass or lemonade is the person that i have just met in xintiandi, i guess that another guy or woman always uses "lemongrass" this avator or usename to type something here....

Just finished watching Green Street with Elijah Wood. Unless you are seriously into football holloganism or West Ham then give it a miss.

I'm forever blowing bubbles. Pretty bubbles in the air.

First verse: I'm dreaming dreams, I'm scheming schemes, I'm building castles high. They're born anew, their days are few, just like a sweet butterfly. And as the daylight is dawning, They come again in the morning.

Chorus: I'm forever blowing bubbles. Pretty bubbles in the air. They fly so high, nearly reach the sky, then like my dreams they fade and die. Fortune's always hiding, I've looked everywhere. I'm forever blowing bubbles. Pretty bubbles in the air.

Second verse: When shadows creep, when I'm asleep, to lands of hope I stray. Then at daybreak, when I awake, my bluebird flutters away. "Happiness you seem so near me, happiness come forth and cheer me".

Just spent the weekend watching the first season of "Lost", although my girlfriend thought it was spooky, but I don't really feel that way. It just makes me curious and want to watch the second season, well, that's enough for me now.

The HBO series 'Rome' is excellent so if you're interested in anything roman give it a try. The first series has just finished comprising 12 episodes and they're working on the second.
